The application, developed by students from Escuela Media ORT in Argentina's Media Production and ICT specializations as part of their curricular requirements, offers a resource for individuals seeking gluten-free food options. It provides a comprehensive, searchable database of 100% gluten-free recipes, each accompanied by photographs, ingredient lists, and detailed preparation instructions. Additionally, the app features a map displaying local shops that sell gluten-free products.

Named SmarTACC, this application is notably the first dedicated tool aimed at improving access to gluten-free foods across Latin America for individuals with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. It offers information on homemade dishes as well as options available in restaurants and stores. The platform allows users to share and discover recipes based on ingredients they have at hand, fostering a communal approach to gluten-free cooking.
